The
following are the 2008 Tree Award Winners. The Festival
Committee believes EVERY tree is a winner so we congratulate
ALL tree donors for their outstanding creations and donations
to the Festival. The trees were judged in a variety of
categories by a panel of
judges on Thursday, November 19, 2008. The awards were
announced at Premier Night on November 20, 2008.
JUDGES
Our judges are chosen for their expertise in floral design
and/or artistic talent. The Festival of Trees is serious
in its effort (to the extent possible) that all judging
is done without knowledge of the person, group, or
organization presenting the trees. Our rules stipulate
that judges are not allowed to be from Methuen or have
affiliation with a person, group or organization that
donates a tree to the Festival of Trees.
