The Methuen Festival of Trees is pleased to announce the winners of the 2017 trees, mini-trees, and wreaths. The winning tickets were chosen on Saturday evening and everyone was notified on Sunday. The trees, mini-trees and wreaths now have found their new homes in 49 different cities and towns across New England.
“The tree raffle is one of the most exciting aspects of our Festival,” according to Festival president Tom Lussier. “It’s always fun to see the beautiful trees being created before our eyes, but the excitement when the winners come to pick-up their trees and wreaths is hard to beat,” he added.
The Festival is grateful to everyone who contributes to the success of this wonderful annual holiday event. “As a result of the generosity and creativity of our tree donors, the dedication of our countless volunteers, and the support of over 30,000 guests, the 24th Annual Festival is another record breaker,” according to Lussier. Proceeds from the Festival will be awarded to worthy historic preservation and restoration projects early in 2018.
