Lowell Family Wins $10,000 Raffle

December 10, 2018

The Methuen Festival of Trees is pleased to announce the winners of the 2018 trees, mini-trees, and wreaths.  The winning tickets were chosen on Saturday evening and everyone was notified on Sunday. The trees, mini-trees and wreaths now have found their new homes in 57 different cities and towns across New England.

“The tree raffle is always one of the most important aspects of our Festival,” according to Festival president Tom Lussier. “We’re always pleased to see the happiness on the faces of our tree winners – we know everyone is excited to bring one of these special trees home for the holidays,” he added.

In addition to the tree raffle, the Festival was pleased to present a check for $10,000 to Richard LeClair from Lowell, MA. Mr. LeClair was the lucky winner of the Festival’s annual Charles Raffle.

“Celebrating our 25th Annual Festival of Trees has made this a very special year for all of us, Lussier said. The Festival is grateful to everyone who contributes to the success of this wonderful annual holiday event.  “As a result of the generosity and creativity of our tree donors, the dedication of our countless volunteers, and the support of over 30,000 guests, the 25th Annual Festival is another record breaker,” according to Lussier.

Proceeds from the Festival will be awarded to worthy historic preservation and restoration projects early in 2019.
