The Edward F. Searles Estate was surrounded by magnificent walls, towers and gates. The Festival of Trees funded the restoration of a portion of the granite tower at the estate entrance. The work included the repair of loose and missing wall mortar joints, restoration of tower windows, the granite block exterior wall, and interior wall structures. The Searles Estate serves as the home of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary.
